WaterCare regenerates all expired resin from their Calcium Treatment Units through collection and after extensive cleaning and regeneration they are able to be used again – saving on landfill and keeping on-costs to a minimum.

WaterCare iX water filters use Insert Refill Technology, which means that the inner media cartridge can be recycled – this is a huge step forward as previously the entire cartridge would be thrown away and sent to landfill where it will take up to 1000 years to bio-degrade.

WaterCare are able to recycle and re-purpose ALL types of plastic and aluminium water filters using our newly operational recycling facility at our Head Offices in Harlow, Essex. We are also able to regenerate the expired resin from within these water filters to be used in future manufacture of new water filters.

We recycle all commercial water filters, including brands such as BWT, Brita, 3M, Claris and Everpure.

Eliminating Single-Use Filters

The revolutionary iX water filter effectively eliminates harmful, single use water filters. Rather than throwing spent filters away where they take up to 1000 years to bio-degrade, iX filters use a changeable insert which is recyclable and also saves money too.

Plastics Pledge

WaterCare’s ongoing plastics policy is to look for ways of replacing non recyclable plastics with recyclable alternatives wherever possible. Since 2016 WaterCare have made great strides by developing products that benefit the environment and will continue to do so into the future.

Manufactured in the UK

WaterCare products are manufactured in a facility in the UK before being distributed. This is unlike many competitors, whose manufacturing facilities are based on the continent, thereby attracting associated transportation and energy costs.

Water Refill Points

Water refill points are becoming more popular as an alternative to buying plastic bottles of water. iX eco-friendly water filters from WaterCare provide excellent water filtration for clean tasting water. They are also fully recyclable with Insert Refill Technology.
